România a ocupat locul VI în UE la producția de grâu obținută anul trecut, cu un total de 6,4 milioane de tone, transmite Rador.

Recolta din 2020 a fost mai mică cu aproape patru milioane de tone față de anul precedent din cauza secetei pedologice extreme, arată datele provizorii publicate de Institutul Național de Statistică.

Cea mai mare recoltă la grâu a fost raportată de Franța, urmată de Germania, Polonia, Spania și Italia.

Potrivit Ministerului Agriculturii, România a exportat anul trecut în spațiul intra și extracomunitar peste 2/3 din cantitatea obținută, încasând mai mult de 840 de milioane de euro. Consumul intern de grâu se ridică la aproximativ trei milioane de tone, din care aproximativ 2,2 milioane se utilizează în panificație.
