Veniturile bugetarilor reprezintă 12% din PIB, procent care trebuie să scadă pentru că este nesustenabil. În acest context, o reformă în sectorul public presupune concedieri masive sau scăderea salariilor, spune economistul-șef al Băncii Naționale, Valentin Lazea. 

Lazea a recomandat concedierea a 300.000 de bugetari sau micșorarea lefurilor, precizând că salariile acestora vor rămâne oricum mai mari decât în sectorul privat.
”Una dintre cele mai mari probleme este faptul că salariile actuale ale bugetarilor însumează 12% din PIB. Acest procent este nesustenabil. Soluţia este că acest procent să scadă la 10%, ori prin scăderea numărului de angajaţi, cam cu 300.000 de persoane, ori prin micşorarea salariilor lor, care oricum rămân mai mari decât în sectorul privat, cu păstrarea locurilor de muncă”, a spus economistul-șef al BNR, la Gold FM.

Lazea a subliniat că 1 din 4 lei cheltuiți de stat sunt bani împrumutați, lucru care se va traduce, pe viitor, prin ”dreptul de a impune taxe”, întrucât ”nu există plăți gratuite.”

”În prezent, România este ca o familie care timp de un sfert dintr-un an trăieşte din împrumuturi. Anul trecut, 1 leu din 4, de la investiţii, pensii, salarii, a provenit din împrumuturi. Trebuie să repetăm constant că, oricum am întoarce-o, capacitatea statului de a se împrumuta în prezent stă în dreptul său de a taxa în viitor. Nu există plăţi gratuite”, a mai spus reprezentantul Băncii Naționale. 

Lazea a mai adăugat că ”politicienii nu vor lua niciodată măsuri care să nu fie pe placul publicului, pentru că trebuie să-şi conserve capitalul electoral.”

Joi, Florin Cîțu a anunțat că salariile bugetarilor vor fi înghețate și anul viitor. ”Statul, așa cum este, ne trage în jos, este o frână în dezvoltarea economiei”, a explicat premierul. Aflați AICI ce măsuri a anunțat șeful Guvernului pentru a forța reforma în sectorul public.
