Ministrul Agriculturii şi Dezvoltării Rurale, Adrian Oros, a declarat luni seară, la un post TV, că peste un milion de hectare cu porumb şi floarea soarelui au fost afectate de seceta pedologică extremă din acest an. Guvernul caută soluții pentru despăgubirea fermierilor afectați, a dat însă asigurări ministrul, care a transmis și că nu vor exista scumpiri din această cauză.

”Dacă ne referim la recolta din acest an, a fost afectată foarte tare, foarte drastic de seceta pedologică extremă şi puternică, care s-a răsfrânt asupra producţiei de cereale însămânţate în toamna anului trecut, dar şi asupra a ceea ce s-a însămânţat în primăvară. Dacă din cele 2,9 milioane de hectare însămânţate în toamnă au fost afectate 1,18 milioane hectare, din nefericire şi tot ceea ce s-a însămânţat în primăvară, şi aici mă refer în primul rând la porumb şi floarea soarelui, iarăşi avem o cifră destul de mare: peste un milion de hectare afectate. Noi am spus că facem despăgubiri şi este normal să facem aceste despăgubiri, iar pentru recolta din primăvară despăgubirile au ajuns în conturile fermierilor. Guvernul a alocat 850 de milioane de lei, sigur, insuficient, dar atât s-a putut. Nu am putut acoperi toate pierderile pe care fermierii le-au avut (…) Pentru suprafeţele însămânţate în primăvară avem o evaluare, facem verificările şi căutăm soluţii să-i despăgubim şi pe aceşti fermieri”, a spus Oros.

Ministrul a subliniat că sunt necesare investiții pentru a nu mai avea o agricultură meteo-dependentă, despăgubirile, care ”nu acoperă nici pe departe pierderile suferite”, fiind doar o soluție pe termen scurt. 

”Trebuie să încetăm să mai fim o agricultură meteo-dependentă şi trebuie să investim foarte mult şi foarte repede în această strategie de gestionare a apei şi am găsit această oportunitate în programul naţional de relansare şi creştere a rezilienţei, unde avem alocate 6,5 miliarde euro, bani care vor trebuie cheltuiţi între 2021 şi 2026”, a adăugat Oros.

Ministrul Agriculturii a dat asigurări că seceta nu va afecta prețul produselor, în special al pâinii.

”Producţiile au fost scăzute, dar necesarul de consum pentru grâu panificabil este de 2,2 milioane tone. Mai consumăm cam 550.000 tone pentru grâu seminţe, mai sunt cam 400.000 tone pentru grâu utilizat în furaje şi încă aproximativ 500.000 tone de grâu pentru industrializare, alcool. Acesta este consumul intern al României. Anul acesta am avut o producţie de 5,6 milioane tone, deci producţia de anul acesta, deşi a fost diminuată mult de secetă acoperă necesarul de consum. Dar preţul grâului nu e dat doar de ceea ce se produce într-o anumită ţară. Din nefericire pentru noi, doar zona Mării Negre a fost anul acesta afectată de secetă. La nivel mondial producţiile au crescut, de aceea nu ne aşteptam ca preţul grâului de panificaţie să crească şi să crească şi cel al pâinii. Cu siguranţă nu se va întâmpla acest lucru”, a explicat Oros, citat de Agerpres.
