Ministrul Mediului, Apelor şi Pădurilor, Barna Tanczos: „Nu se va introduce nicio formă de taxă auto anul acesta”

Ministrul Mediului, Apelor şi Pădurilor, Barna Tanczos, a afirmat, joi, la Craiova, că anul acesta nu se va introduce nicio formă de taxă auto şi niciodată nu se va mai introduce o taxă auto sub forma în care a existat, pentru că, în ultimii zece ani, statul a pierdut toate procesele privind taxa auto de poluare.

„Nu se va introduce nicio formă de taxă auto anul acesta şi cu siguranţă nu se va introduce niciodată o taxă auto sub forma în care a existat”, a spus ministrul Mediului, Apelor şi Pădurilor, într-o conferinţă de mediu, răspunzând unei întrebări pe acest subiect.

Acesta a spus că taxarea poluării nu este un scop în sine pentru a aduna bani la buget, ci se face pentru descurajarea formelor de poluare, iar anul acesta România trebuie să decidă dacă va folosi taxarea ca soluţie pentru reducerea poluării.

„În Europa, în vederea reducerii poluării aerului prin intermediul mijloacelor de transport sunt 24 de state care aplică diverse forme de descurajare şi trei state membre care nu au nicio formă de taxare a poluării. Taxarea poluării nu este un scop în sine, pentru a se aduna bani la bugetul de stat, ci descurajarea formelor de poluare. Am avut o şedinţă cu cei şase primari de sectoare din Bucureşti şi cu primarul general pe problema poluării aerului, una dintre cele mai mari probleme şi în Bucureşti şi poate că şi în Craiova, iar soluţiile trebuie căutate ori la nivel local, ori la nivel naţional. Sunt zone unde nu există poluare a aerului, dar sunt şi zone unde suntem în situaţia de infringement, sunt comunităţi care pot rezolva problema pe plan local, sunt comunităţi care poate nici nu-şi dau interesul pentru rezolvarea problemei. România trebuie să decidă în 2021 dacă va folosi soluţia taxării poluării ca o soluţie de reducere a poluării cel puţin în marile centre urbane, acolo unde avem problema infringementului şi unde dacă nu găsim soluţii şi dacă poluarea nu o să scadă, nu scăpăm de penalităţile Comisiei Europene”, spus ministrul Mediului.

Barna Tanczos a subliniat că se vor extinde staţiile de măsurare şi staţiile de monitorizare a poluării aerului în toate centrele urbane, iar în multe zone probabil că imaginea va fi una gravă.

„O să mai achiziţionăm peste 140 de staţii noi şi de senzori – şi cu cât reţeaua o să fie mai mare, cu atât imaginea legată de poluare o să fie clară. Şi în anumite zone imaginea va fi una gravă. Deci vom vedea că sunt zone din anumite centre urbane unde poluarea este alarmantă sau la nivelul maxim admis de Uniunea Europeană. Deci, în concluzie, în niciun caz taxă auto, pentru că am văzut că în ultimii zece ani am pierdut toate procesele. Este o întrebare dacă folosim taxarea poluării ca o soluţie de reducere a poluării şi dacă folosim această soluţie la nivel naţional sau doar local, acolo unde avem probleme.” a conchis ministrul Mediului, Apelor şi Pădurilor, Barna Tanczos.
