Ministrul Energiei, Virgil Popescu, anunță ”o soluție pe termen lung” pentru minerii din Valea Jiului

Ministrul Energiei, Virgil Popescu, afirmă că este nevoie de „o soluţie pe termen lung” pentru Complexul Energetic Hunedoara, aflat în insolvenţă din anul 2019 şi care are, pe lângă datorii mari către terţi, de returnat şi un ajutor de stat despre care organismele europene au constata că a fost acordat ilegal.

Ministrul Energiei anunţă că „mai devreme de data de 26 februarie” minerii care nu şi-au luat salariile vor primi banii. Într-o intervenţie telefonică avută duminică la Antena 3, ministrul Energiei afirmă că este nevoie de o soluţie pe termen lung pentru Complexul Energetic Hunedoara, aflat în insolvenţă de aproape doi ani.

„Trebuie să se ştie: Complexul Energetic Hunedoara, din 2019, este în insolvenţă, într-o procedură lungă de reorganizare şi cu un ajutor de stat care trebuie returnat în urma unei decizii a Comisiei Europene. Vechea guvernare a dat un ajutor de stat care a fost ilegal consumat şi trebuie returnat. Sunt datorii foarte mari către furnizori. (…) Ceea ce facem noi acum este o soluţie pe termen scurt pentru ca oamenii să-şi primească salariile”, a declarat ministrul Energiei într-o intervenţie telefonică la Antena 3.

Virgil Popescu avansează ideea înfiinţării a două societăţi, una administrată de autorităţile locale şi cealaltă administrată la nivelul Guvernului, el explicând că, la acest moment, ministerul de resort nu are pârghii pentru a acţiona din cauza situaţiei legate de „birocraţia juridică” pe care o implică administrarea companiei de către un administrator judiciar.

Ministrul a făcut un apel către mineri să încheie protestul, să iasă din subteran şi să reia furnizarea cărbunelui, amintind că în urma protestului termocentrala de la Mintia este oprită iar oraşul Deva este decuplat de la energie termică şi apă caldă.

Zeci de mineri de la mina Lupeni sunt blocaţi duminică, pentru a şasea zi consecutiv, în mina Lupeni, ei protestând astfel faţă de faptul că nu şi-au primit salariile la timp.

Pe de altă partea, duminică după amiază în faţa sediului exploatării miniere de la Lupeni s-au adunat mineri veniţi de la alte mine, dar şi localnici şi membri ai familiilor minerilor.

Protestatarii a strigat: ”Hoţii! Hoţii!”, Unitate!”, „Minerii şi Valea şi-au pierdut răbdarea” şi „Ruşine să vă fie!”.
