Premierul Ludovic Orban și ministrul Sănătății – Nelu Tătaru au participat, luni, la semnarea contractelor de finanțare din fonduri europene a 10 proiecte ce vor fi implementate de spitale din București în scopul creșterii capacității de răspuns la criza sanitară provocată de COVID -19.

”Guvernul României, odată cu izbucnirea pandemiei, a întreprins demersuri, la nivelul Comisiei Europene pentru a obține aprobarea alocării de sume din fonduri europene pentru înzestrarea spitalelor din România. Am reușit să obținem o finanțare de 1,27 miliarde de euro. Sunt bani destinați înzestrării spitalelor cu aparate, echipamente și orice alte investiții necesare.

Această alocare este urmată de alocarea unei sume fără precedent pentru modernizarea sistemului de sănătate. Este vorba de 6,1 miliarde de euro care vor fi alocați sistemului dă sănătate în următorii 7 ani – 1,9 miliarde  euro prin programul național de recuperare și reziliență și 4,9 miliarde de euro urmează să fie alocați în cadrul bugetului UE 2021-2027 din fondurile de coeziune. Este vorba, în total, de o investiție de aproape 7 miliarde și jumătate de euro, care vine să suplinească absența unor finanțări serioase pentru modernizarea sistemului de sănătate, pentru creșterea calității serviciilor medicale.

 

El a explicat că, în total, contractele de finanţare pentru Bucureşti vor fi destinate către 22 de spitale.

„Pentru Bucureşti, astăzi se semnează contractele de finanţare pentru 10 spitale, în total contractele de finanţare pentru Bucureşti vor fi destinate către 22 de spitale, iar suma alocată pentru dotarea spitalelor cu aparatură, echipamente şi alte investiţii necesare va fi de peste 100 de milioane de euro”, a spus Orban.

Guvernul mai are în plan realizarea celor 3 spitale regionale, pentru care s-au semnat, deja, contractele de finanţare – Spitalul Regional Iaşi, Spitalul Regional Craiova şi Spitalul Regional Cluj Napoca.

„De asemenea, avem ca obiectiv construcţia de încă 10 noi spitale de rang spital judeţean, de asemenea, modernizarea de spitale judeţene, modernizarea de spitale municipale şi orăşeneşti cu alocare de fonduri, absolut fără precedent”, a adăugat Orban.
