Fonduri europene de 23,9 milioane lei pentru Spitalul Clinic Județean de Urgență Constanța

 Spitalul Clinic Județean de Urgență “Sf. Apostol Andrei” Constanța va derula un proiect de screening pentru cancerul colorectal, finanțat din fonduri europene. Contractul, în valoare de aproximativ 23,9 milioane lei, a fost semnat astăzi, de către Ministrul Fondurilor Europene, Marcel Boloș  și managerul Spitalului Clinic Județean de Urgență Constanța, Ș.L. Dr. Cătălin Nicolae Grasa, în prezența doamnei viceprim-ministru Raluca Turcan și a președintelui Consiliului Județean Constanța, Mihai Lupu.

Proiectul „Furnizarea serviciilor de sănătate din programele de preventie, depistare precoce, diagnostic si tratament precoce al leziunilor precanceroase colorectale în regiunea Sud-Est ” este finanțat în cadrul Programului Operațional Capital Uman 2014-2020. Prin intermediul acestuia, vor fi desfășurate activități de identificare, mobilizare și acordare de sprijin pentru peste 50 mii de persoane din regiunea Sud-Est.

 Potrivit datelor oficiale, în cazul cancerului colorectal, costurile unui test se ridică la peste 200 de euro/caz. Vor beneficia de investigații persoanele cu vârsta cuprinsă între 50 și 74 ani. Având în vedere că printre obiectivele proiectului se numără și promovarea incluziunii sociale, combaterea sărăciei și a oricărei forme de discriminare, cel puțin jumătate dintre persoanele care vor  fi investigate, vor proveni din mediul rural, putând fi chiar neasigurate.

Dintre toate tipurile de cancer, cel colorectal se află pe locul doi ca incidență și mortalitate în România.  Depistarea precoce a bolii va duce la un număr mai mare de pacienți vindecați, scăderea mortalității și reducerea costurilor alocate tratamentului.
