Banii cheltuiți pentru decontarea testelor RT-PCR vor fi recuperați din fonduri europene

Ministerul Sănătății a anunțat că România va recupera din fonduri europene banii cheltuiţi pentru decontarea testelor RT-PCR făcute la nivel naţional pentru identificarea infecţiilor cu noul coronavirus. Autoritățile au depus patru proiecte în acest sens, în valoare de aproximativ 200 de milioane de euro. 

Într-un comunicat, ministerul precizează că proiectele respective au fost depuse în cadrul apelului privind consolidarea capacităţii de gestionare a crizei sanitare generate de Covid-19, care a fost lansat în mai de Ministerul Fondurilor Europene, prin Programul Operaţional Infrastructură Mare 2014-2020.

Nelu Tătaru a transmis că fondurile primite vor fi folosite tot pentru sectorul sanitar. 

”Am început lupta în această pandemie în condiţii de austeritate şi am fost nevoiţi ca în câteva luni să recuperăm pentru a putea gestiona în condiţii de siguranţă prima etapă. Vom solicita ca banii pe care îi vom recupera în cadrul acestor proiecte retrospective de la UE să fie redirecţionaţi pentru a fi utilizaţi tot în sectorul sanitar”, a spus ministrul Sănătății. 

Proiectele retrospective, dar şi care privesc cheltuieli viitoare au ca obiectiv şi creşterea numărului de teste RT-PCR efectuate la persoanele eligibile, a precizat Tătaru. 

Evaluarea proiectelor se va face după 30 septembrie 2020, finanțarea putând fi aprobată în martie, potrivit estimărilor.
