Termocentrala Mintia, oprită joi noapte din lipsă de cărbune. Mii de apartamente din Deva au rămas fără căldură

Termocentrala Mintia din cadrul Complexului Energetic Hunedoara (CEH) a fost oprită în cursul nopţii de joi spre vineri din cauză că nu mai are cărbune, ceea ce înseamnă că în jur de 4.500 de apartamente ale locuitorilor din Deva şi instituţii publice din oraş nu mai primesc agent termic.

„Complexul Energetic Hunedoara şi-a oprit atât producţia de cărbune, cât şi pe cea de energie. Termocentrala Mintia a fost oprită la ora 1 şi 10 minute. Guvernul trebuie să vină cu soluţii sau să plece acasă”, a informat preşedintele Sindicatului Solidaritatea Hunedoara, Cristian Iştoc.

Liderul sindical a atras atenţia de joi că, pe fondul protestelor de la minele de huilă din Valea Jiului, termocentrala Mintia nu mai are stocuri de cărbune pentru a putea funcţiona.
 
În acest context, aproximativ o sută de angajaţi ai termocentralei au protestat şi ei, joi, în curtea unităţii, nemulţumiţi de faptul că se întârzie, cu zece zile, plata salariilor în cadrul CEH.
 
În plus, reprezentanţii sindicatului au solicitat Guvernului elaborarea unui act normativ prin care să se prevadă măsuri de protecţie socială, inclusiv salarii compensatorii, în cazul în care activitatea termocentralei va fi sistată.
 
Este pentru a patra oară, în ultimele şase luni, când termocentrala Mintia nu funcţionează deoarece nu are combustibil, ultima oprire fiind consemnată pe 9 februarie, când instalaţiile au fost oprite pentru mai bine de 24 de ore din cauză că nu a fost cărbune în depozite.
 
Termocentrala Mintia asigură şi agentul termic pentru instituţiile publice şi circa 4.500 de apartamente din municipiul Deva.
 
Termocentrala face parte din Complexul Energetic Hunedoara şi numără circa 700 de angajaţi.
