Ministrul Economiei, în vizită de lucru în Statele Unite

Virgil Popescu, ministrul Economiei, Energiei și Mediului de Afaceri, efecturează o vizită de lucru peste Ocean, unde se va întâlni, printre alții, cu secretarul pentru Energie din Statele Unite. Anunțul a fost făcut pe pagina oficială de Facebook a liderului PNL.

Virgil Popescu: „De astăzi mă aflu într-o vizită oficială în Statele Unite ale Americii, prilej cu care voi avea o întâlnire cu Secretarul pentru Energie al SUA, Dan Brouillette, și cu alți înalți oficiali americani. Îmi doresc ca în urma acestei vizite să dezvoltăm parteneriatul strategic dintre România și SUA pe dimensiunea energetică și să punem bazele unei cooperări în acest domeniu. Statele Unite ale Americii sunt deja un investitor puternic în economia românească, iar sectorul energetic, de importanță strategică pentru România atât din perspectivă economică, cât și din perspectiva securității energetice, este un domeniu în care mi-aș dori să văd o prezență americană mult mai pronunțată în România. Îmi doresc să fructificăm cât mai multe oportunități pentru dezvoltarea țării noastre.”
