Ministrul Agriculturii a vorbit la Realitatea PLUS despre seceta cu care se confruntă România în 2020, în special în regiunea Dobrogei. Totuși, acesta a dat asigurări cu fermierii vor fi despăgubiți sub forma unor ajutoare de stat.

Adrian Oros: „Din nefericire, anul acesta s-a înregistrat o secetă pedologică cum nu a mai fost întâlnită de 40-50 de ani în țara noastră. Zona Dobrogei a fost cea mai afectată. Alte state care cultivă grâu pe suprafețe mari nu au fost atât de afectate ca noi. 1,2 milioane din 2,9 milioane de hectare au fost afectate înr-o proporție mai mare de 30%. (…) Credem că pâinea nu se va scumpi. Prețul grâului de panificație depinde ce se întâmplă la nivel mondial. (…) Pierderile fermierilor încercăm să le compensăm. (…) Începând de astăzi, timp de zece zile, producătorii agricoli pot să înregistreze acele cereri prin care li se vor acorda aceste ajutor de stat. (…) Anul acesta am dat drumul apei încă din martie, am deschis pompe de presiune care nu fuseseră deschise de mult timp. Banii pentru infrastructura de irigații au fost de 250 de milioane, mai mulți decât cei 170 de milioane din anii anteriori. Avem acest program de gestionare a apei. Aproape 6 miliarde de euro vor fi investiți în următorii ani în această infrastructură.”
